This past Sunday, 10 Storehouse Row, a completely restored facility was the site of the Academic Magnet High School Picnic and Silent Auction fundraiser for the PTSA.
10 Storehouse Row was an industrial warehouse that was transformed into a building arts and design center. The building houses the American College of the Building Arts, professional offices including the Trident Homebuilders Association, and artist studios. Located in the heart of The Navy Yard at Noisette, the building is part of Storehouse Row, a group of historically significant naval building on Noisette Boulevard. This event, sponsored by The Noisette Company, LLC., was the first use of the community space within the building and a big success. More than 200 parents, students, and friends turned out for great food, and island music. The three piece band included a steel drum, guitar, and electric base. A great time was had by all.
Special Thanks to Karen Thrower, Noisette Urban Alliance Studio Manager, for her help in making this event such a success!
